Our Team

Rochelle Grayson,
Co-Founder

Rochelle Grayson is a dynamic leader with over 30 years experience in business, technology, finance, and education. As Co-Founder of Circles of AI and Founder of Mosaic Accelerator, she champions learning and innovation in AI applications and has taught AI courses at the University of British Columbia, focusing on AI application, innovation, and ethics for diverse audiences, including executives, university students, high school students, and seniors. Rochelle is the recipient of the University of British Columbia’s John K. Friesen Excellence in Teaching Award and the Canadian Women in Communications' Trailblazer: Excellence in Leadership Award.

As an Executive-in-Residence at New Ventures BC, Rochelle has mentored over 150 tech startups in the last 4 years. She is knowledgeable about AI business applications, funding strategies, digital business models, marketing strategies, community building, and the latest tech.

Rochelle has been nominated as one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network, been named "The New Executive Cool Hunter" by Canadian Business Magazine, been awarded Vancouver’s Top Forty Under 40 by Business in Vancouver, and listed as one of Vancouver's Top 10 Technology Women. Rochelle holds an MBA in Finance and Business Policy from the University of Chicago, and her career has taken her from New York to Silicon Valley and now to Vancouver.

James Rowe,
Co-Founder

James Rowe leads Insightful Innovation, focusing on leveraging advanced technologies to drive growth and innovation. With over two decades of experience in leadership and technical roles, he has dedicated his career to solving critical business problems through technology. As a seasoned technology strategist and digital transformation expert, James excels in automating business systems and fostering scalable business models, leading to the successful founding and expansion of multiple enterprises.

He co-founded Circles of AI to help non-technical business leaders gain insights into the power of generative AI with hands-on, real-world examples and best practices. James regularly shares his knowledge through the Insightful Growth Navigator newsletter, offering actionable AI and automation tips to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses. He is excited to guide leaders on this learning journey, aiming to share engaging and useful content that equips them with the tools to succeed with AI in their organizations.

Located in Vancouver, BC, James also serves as an Executive-in-Residence at Foresight Canada and provides mentorship through Spring Activator, Entrepreneurship@UBC and Mosaic Accelerator, offering startups strategic insights. His extensive expertise in product development and creating systems for market delivery of products and services ensures infrastructure and services are designed for scalability and market adaptability.

James is well-known for his ability to grasp the overarching structure of a business, excelling in systems thinking and strategic alignment. His proven track record of identifying and fixing operational misalignments that hinder growth makes him a valuable asset to any organization looking to leverage technology for sustainable growth.
